Validation of bundled SSC A/R projects

Validation of bundled small-scale afforestation and reforestation (SSC A/R) projects may take place at the same time:

Several small-scale afforestation or reforestation project activities under the CDM may be bundled for the purpose of validation (6/CMP.1, Annex, paragraph 11).

The rule that a single DOE may perform validation as well as verification and certification for SSC A/R projects applies equally to bundled projects:

A single designated operational entity may perform validation as well as verification and certification for a small-scale afforestation or reforestation project activity or bundled small-scale afforestation or reforestation project activities under the CDM (6/CMP.1, Annex, paragraph 12).
