Using an approved methodology

Once a methodology has been approved, it may be used by other project proponents for similar project activities. However, in conducting validation, a DOE may need to submit queries relating to the application of approved methodologies to proposed new project activities.

In order to request a clarification on the applicability of an approved methodology, project participants must use the Form for Submission on Small Scale Afforestation /Reforestation Methodologies and Procedures (F-CDM-SSC-AR-Subm), indicating that they wish to submit a query.

No specific procedure for responding to requests for clarification relating to small-scale afforestation and reforestation (SSC A/R) methodologies has yet been outlined by the Executive Board. Until this is done, the Executive Board may use the procedure for responding to queries relating to the application of large-scale A/R methodologies.
