Verification report

The verification report is produced by the designated operational entity (DOE) engaged by the project participants to conduct the verification.  In the verification report, the DOE confirms the quantity of emission reductions or removals that have occurred over the verification period.

The verification report forms the basis for certification of the project's emission reductions or removals, which is required for issuance of certified emission reductions (CERs) or temporary certified emission reductions (tCERs) and long-term certified emission reductions (lCERs).
