4/CMP.1, Annex II paragraph 10 sets out that project proponents should select and apply the methodology from this set that is appropriate to the proposed project activity or, if none are appropriate, propose alternative baseline and monitoring methodologies for the project to the executive board.

4CMP.1 Annex II, paragraph 15 sets out the simplified modalities and procedures for small-scale projects permit the submission of proposals for new small-scale methodologies, or revision of existing methodologies.
