CDM Glossary of Terms, Version 03 sets out the definition of monitoring.

EB 32, Annex 38, paragraph 13 provides guidance on the registration of project activities under a programme of activities as a single CDM project activity.

EB 32, Annex 39, paragraph 2(i) and (j) clarify that a monitoring plan, based on statistically sound sampling methods, must be included in the CDM-POA-DD.

EB 32, Annex 39, paragraph 19 sets out that the coordinating/managing entity is required to maintain all monitoring reports and that the designated operational entity (DOE) is required to make these available, as set out in EB 32, Annex 39, paragraph 20(b).
