EB 28, Annex 34 discusses the requirements of the PDD for small-scale CDM project activities, replacing Version 2 contained in EB 23, Annex 26 and Version 1 in EB 7 Annex 5.

EB 28, paragraph 57 clarifies that a small-scale project that generates emission reductions from more than one type of activity, and which therefore relies on more than one methodology, can be registered using a single CDM-SSC-PDD.

4/CMP.1, Annex II, paragraph 13 sets out the requirement to develop a PDD for small-scale projects.

4/CMP.1, Annex, Appendix B, paragraph 2 sets out in full the content required in the CDM-SSC-PDD.

EB 23, paragraph 24 provides further guidance by the Executive Board on the level of detail required to be included in aPDD.

EB 34, Annex 9 contains guidelines for completing the CDM-SSC-PDD.

EB 34, Annex 9, paragraph 10 provides that revisions come into effect once adopted by the Executive Board.

EB 34, Annex 9, paragraph 11 provides that revisions to the CDM-SSC-PDD do not affect R project activities.

4/CMP.1, Annex II, paragraph 23(b) and (c) set out that small-scale projects require designated operational entities (DOEs) to publicly display the CDM-SSC-PDD so that comments can be received from stakeholders for a period of 30 days.

EB 25, paragraphs 92-3 sets out the requirement to publicly display amended PDD.

3/CMP.1, Annex, paragraph 62(g) sets out the procedure for deviations from the CDM-SSC-PDD.

4/CMP.1, Annex II, paragraph 11 clarifies how the decision applies equally to small-scale projects.

EB 31 Annex 12, paragraph 10 provides that a request for deviation is required where a DOE determines during validation or verification that a project has or will deviate from the provisions of  the project documentation.

EB 31, Annex 12, paragraph 11 clarifies that a distinction is drawn between requests for deviations in advance of requests for registration and requests for deviation at the stage of issuance.

EB 31 Annex 12, paragraphs 12 and 13 provides that a deviation is appropriate where there is a change in the conditions, circumstances or nature of a proposed project activity, which is not significant enough to require a revision of the methodology.

EB 24 Annex 30 sets out the procedures for requests for deviation to the Executive Board.

EB 24 Annex 30, Part A, paragraph 10 sets out the procedure for consideration of a request for deviation by the Executive Board.
