EB 23, paragraph 24 provides further guidance as given by the Executive Board on the level of detail required to be included in the project design document.
EB 41, Annex 12 sets out the guidelines for completion of the CDM-PDD.
3/CMP.1, Annex, paragraph 40(b) and (c) confirm that designated operational entities shall make publicly available the project design document for a period of 30 days.
EB 25, paragraphs 92-3 confirms that when certain major changes are made to a PDD, the DOE is required to make the amended version of the PDD publicly available for comment again, as clarified further at EB 27, paragraph 29.

EB 21, paragraph 66 confirms that requests for deviation may occur at the verification or certification stage.
EB 31 Annex 12, paragraph 10 sets out that a request for deviation is required where a DOE determines during validation or verification that a project has or will deviate from the provisions of the project documentation.
EB 31, Annex 12, paragraph 11 clarifies that a distinction is drawn between requests for deviations in advance of requests for registration and requests for deviation at the stage of issuance.
EB 31 Annex 12, paragraphs 12 and 13 provides that deviation is appropriate where there is a change in the conditions, circumstances or nature of a proposed project activity, which is not significant enough to require a revision of the methodology
EB 24 Annex 30 sets out the procedures for requests for deviation to the Executive Board
EB 24 Annex 30, Part A, paragraph 10 provides that, once a request for deviation has been received, the Chair of the Executive Board and the chair of the panel or working group will decide whether the request should be considered, and if more information is required
EB 24 Annex 30, Part A, paragraph 11 confirms that once the DOE has provided all necessary additional information and the panel/working group has provided technical clarifications, the Executive Board will make a decision
EB 24 Annex 30, Part A, paragraph 12 provides that, once the Executive Board has made its decision, it will be made publicly available.
EB 24 Annex 30, paragraph 14 provides that the Executive Board may be assisted by a panel or working group.
EB 24 Annex 30, paragraph 13 confirms the request may be considered either electronically or at the next meeting of the panel working group.
