EB 47, Annex 29, paragraph 4 sets out the definition of the purpose of the CDM-POA-DD and sets out the information that must be included in the PoA design documents.

EB 47, Annex 29, paragraph 5 provides that the CDM-CPA-DD must use the provisions of the proposed PoA to which it belongs and sets out the information that must be included in the CPA design documents.

EB 32, Annex 38, page 1 sets out that the exact geographic area covered by each individual CDM Programme Activity (CPA) registered under the Programme of Activities (PoA) depends on the type of project and the methodology applied.

EB 32, Annex 38, page 1, note 1 provides that very different project boundaries to apply to different types of emissions reduction activities and that the boundary of some CPAs can encompass a large geographic area.

EB 47, Annex 29, paragraph 4(b) clarifies that, in completing the Programme of Activities Design Document (CDM-POA-PDD), the boundary must be defined.

Note: Despite the fact that the procedures within EB 47, Annex 29 have replaced EB 32, Annex 38, the latter remains relevantly informative, especially insofar that EB 47, Annex 29 does not address or define certain concepts.
